OUR FOUNDER

Stephen Bishop

Stephen is a real estate professional and lawyer with over 30 years experience. He has in depth knowledge of the selling and buying process of high end property and the complex legal issues that can arise.

 

He started his career in the West End acting for overseas buyers of prime Central London property. In 2011, he founded Lighthouse, a consulting firm operating in the second home sector. He went on to develop Urbane8 focusing on the purchase of second homes in London by overseas buyers. 

 

He has a understanding of the unique challenges, demands, requirements overseas residents and companies and British expats face when searching for, buying and owning a property in London that will be a secondary residence.

Why use a buying agent

The process starts with a small group of like-minded buyers with complementary aspirations and motivations. We'll look at key preferences including budget, location and type of property before we share a curated shortlist of homes.

We then take care of everything for the group - setting up the ownership structure, co-ordinating the purchase and scheduling policy and arranging management of your home.
